The context always involves the emotional state of the sender, such as his anger, joy, and sadness. Generally, the context covers the physical presence of the sender. When the receiver cannot see or hear the sender, the symbols, emojis are used as substitutes.

The receiver must acknowledge and understand the message. But for this, the receiver must know how to listen attentively. Otherwise, even if the sender has sent the message clearly, the receiver won’t be able to grasp its essence.

  • The method of delivery chosen by the sender

Many diverse delivery methods, tools, and platforms are available. The sender chooses the method which, according to them, will convey their message the most effectively. The methods should be appropriate and suitable to the message being sent.

The communication methods include written documents, SMS, FaceTime, e-mailers, letters, posters and many more simple and complex methods. The ever-evolving technology is opening up numerous new communication methods. The senders and the receivers have to adapt to it. Yet, face-to-face communication has a greater value.

  • The content of the message

The content of the message should be clear and concise. It should be presented well and in the right flow. It should be developed in such a way that the receiver understands it perfectly. When the message touches the right cord and connects with the receiver, it is grasped fully. And, the desired result is achieved.

The environment is a significant factor in communication. The workplace, which fosters the culture of teamwork, transparency, and fairness, is the best for communication.
